Landscape for Life™
Learn how to work with nature in your garden, no matter where you live, whether you garden on a city or suburban lot, a 20–acre farm, oceanfront, or the common area of your condominium.
In this seven part class, through lecture and hands-on learning, students will learn how to do a simple Landscape for Life TM site assessment of their property, create a checklist for garden renovation and new construction, know what to ask if you're hiring a landscape designer, landscape architect, or contractor, and develop a checklist for choosing a new home site. We'll use local gardens to learn how to solve real-life challenges that you can translate to your own back yard. When you’re finished you will have the information you need to choose the plants, design strategies, and maintenance practices that make sense for you. |
